This study was conducted to observe the effects of Kinetin in combination with NAA on the growth performance of protocorm-like bodies (PLB) of Phalaenopsis gigantea and Dendrobium sonia. The main objective of this study was to determine the most suitable Kinetin and Napthaleneacetic acid (NAA) combination for shoot regeneration of Phalaenopsis gigantea and Dendrobium sonia. Protocorm - like bodies (PLB) as a source of explants which weight between 0.3 g ± 0.03 g for both species were cultured on the solidified New Dogashima Medium (NDM) supplemented with different concentrations levels of Kinetin (0, ], 3, 5 mg/L) in combination with (0, 0.], and] mg/L) ofNAA. The PLBs were established in a 24 treatments combination in a completely randomized design (RCBD) with 5 replications. The data was analyzed using the analysis of variance (ANDY A) and mean comparison performed using the Duncan procedure (DMRT). Parameters recorded were fresh weight of PLB, number of shoot proliferation and PLB's multiplication. There were significant differences among all treatments in all experiments.
