The practices are implemented specifically towards employees more essential because the company's success is reliant on its employees. Therefore, many resources are allocated by the company to implement the practices. The primary purpose of this study is to examine whether the implementation of internal corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities would influence employees' performance in manufacturing companies in Pahang. The internal CSR activities can be divided into 5 aspects which are work-life balance, health and safety, training and development, workforce diversity, and human rights. The quantitative method was conducted via a questionnaire survey. A total of 140 questionnaires were collected from factory workers who have at least one year of experience working in manufacturing companies in Pahang. Multiple regression techniques were used to analyse the data. The findings revealed that internal corporate social which are workplace diversity and human rights are positive and significantly influence employee performance. Thus, hypotheses four and five are accepted. While work-life balance and health and safety positively and insignificant influence employee performance. Training and development negatively influence employee performance. Hence, hypotheses one, two, and three are not supported. The results of the study add to the literature relating to the influence of internal corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities on employees in manufacturing industry. Moreover, this study provides ยท information to manufacturing companies on the importance of internal CSR and highlight the importance of developing internal CSR policy and culture for the sustainability of the business in the long term. Furthermore, it also provides information to the Ministry Human Resources to improve and revise the enforcement in the manufacturing industry through internal CSR implementation to enhance employee performance in the workplace and lead to better manufacturing company performance. As a result, it would help in reducing the Malaysian unemployment rate.
