The data of labor productivity, competitiveness index, high-skilled workers and gross fixed capital formation are from the year 2006 to 2020. These data are made up of secondary sources that was extracted from the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), IMO World Competitiveness Yearbook and World Bank. Labor productivity is used as dependent variable, while competitiveness index, high-skilled workers and gross fixed capital formation are the independent variables. This study used the Ordinary Least Square Model to identify the relationship and impact between the listed independent variables and labor productivity. The result shows all the dependent variables are positively significant to labor productivity. In addition to that, all variables are found to pass all the diagnostic test. CN - SPE 2023 6 ER -
