| Περίληψη: | Golden Hope Oil Palm Research Station is a major oil palm seed producer in Malaysia, and, over the last 30 years, has produced a series of progressively improved DxP planting materials. The current Deli duras x AVROS pisiferas offer significantly improved yields over the previous series of planting materials. Exceptionally high yields recorded in commercial scale plantings in 1989 have set new limits on commercial yield expectations on both coastal and inland soils. Under favourable conditions, yields on inland soils can clearly match those on fertile coastal soils. The yield performance of Deli duras x Dumpy AVROS pisiferas is comparable to the Deli duras x AVROS pisiferas with the added advantage of lower height increment rates |
