Deposition of titanium over the high purity non-crystalline silica was performed by hydrolysis and condensation reaction of JiCI 4. The photocatalytic degradation of cyanide tests were conducted in the presence and absence of the SiD21JiD2 catalyst utilising simulated UV light and natural sunlight as the irradiation sources.
