Of the extracts tested, fourteen plants, namely, Alphinia galanga Swartz, Ardisia elliptica Thunb., Boesenbergia pandurata Roxb., Cinnamomum altissimum Kosterm., C. aureofulvum Gamb., C. pubescens Kochmmen, C. scortechinii Gamb., Curcuma domestica Valeton, Garcinia hombroniana Pierre, Kopsia flavida B1., Momordica charantia Linn., Piper aduncum L., Zingiber officinale Rosc. and Z. zerumbet Koenig showed significant inhibitory effects of more that 45 at concentration of 18.2 microgram/ml. |
